Looks like somebody started swapping the burl wood for standard 996 black panels, but didn't go all the way. I've also never seen the "natural" brown leather combined with gray carpet.

Likely started body work, then found some broken internal seam on the body that ruins the unibody.

Do all 996 turbos look like they have negative rake (nose up, rear down attitude)? Doesn't seem like a mileage issue as much as an age issue, '02 & '03s are worse than '05s.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?

US cars were raised in the front and suspension was altered to give more understeer. Easily remedied with the application of funds.

You mean besides 129,000 miles? That wouldn't scare me if it was a dry sump or Mezger motor….But I wouldn't touch a 3.4L wet sump with that many miles.

porsche4life 06-02-2015 03:50 PM

Not a damn thing..... Little high for the miles though.
