Outside of the plugs that can be seen in the pics the finish is 100% original.

It is a complete monster. I've never heard another Les Paul that sounds like it. It weighs about 7lbs and vibrates and rings like no solid body guitar I've ever played. My '53 conversion was a great old LP, but nothing like this guitar.
They can be awesome- one P90 and have at it- but what drives some people nuts (me) is the tailpiece. Does that one have the set screws to allowat least some adjustment, or does it pre-date them?

Every wraptail I've seen has set screws for adjusting the intonation. The ears on all of the early LP tailpieces are a little thinner, but the wrap tailpieces should all have the adjustment screws. The tailpieces from the guitars with the TOM bridge do not. I wouldnt do it to a vintage tailpiece now, but the wrap tailpiece can be modified to make intonation issue a little better. Wraptails just sound fat. I love P90s and wraptails.

I thought I was the only one who didn't get a 50's Les Paul.

I'm especially fond of TV yellow single cut specials.

I thought (?) very early ones did not have them- but I may well be wrong.

Even though I've posted them else where, I will. I really love my guitars!
The strat is a 56' nos and the Epi has been completely modded.

The sunburst J bass in the middle is fretless, Got 66 PU"s in it and I converted it to stacked knobs V/T V/T. One of my kellys is fretless and of course the doghouse is as well. I like playing fretless, it's just not good for every song.
