I've got more stories of on line dating than should be told.... Most tend to get nicknames that stick. But seriously "OMG" about covers it. The lack of self awareness is staggering. One simply could include a pic of their wallet as a cover pic for most dating websites.
I just meet whomever and take my time and hope to be lucky to find a woman between 40-50 who "gets it". I'm a very busy man raising 2 great daughters on my own so my time is limited... And I refuse to drive time into someone until I'm sure there's a possible something.. As I say, I don't drive a tractor around a field I'm not plowing

I know more ladies looking for a man than men looking for ladies.

The thing that I find most in women and online dating is they are all normal, no fire or passion for a hobby.

Why is being a couch potato normal?

That's my point....I think having a hobby, exercising, having a sense of humor is normal.

Yes, but it seems to be norm not to do these things.

If they were normal they would be happily married and not trolling for dates online.....vicious circle, Shaun. We are "super normal".....

[QUOTE=quattrorunner;8120536]Me too. I wouldn't have a Porsche again if it were not for my wife I found online.
The first wife is why I had to get rid of the last Porsche. Internet rules![/Q I have met my wife online also.....now I own 3 Porsche thanks to her. 1 had before the relationship and the two since we married......

I do have to add though when we was dating, she suggest over a phone call conversation I should sell my 86 911. (I was repainting it at the time ) Well lets just say I hung up on her and didn't talk to her for a few days. From that day on she never made silly suggestions like that again.
She has been supportive of my Love for Porsches since then........

That simple skill could turn an awkward five hours into an awkward fifteen minutes. "Thanks for your time, but no. I'm sorry. This isn't working for me." Last edited by john70t; 06-25-2014 at 08:45 PM.. |
