![]() A big fan of the Goose Island Bourbon County seasonal offerings as well. From the last of the 2018 batch (excuse the Guinness glass):

Try this: take your fav stout and add a shot of espresso. Yum (if you like coffee). Have to add the hot espresso slowly lest a huge overflowing head make a mess.

The name is based on the ABV which is 10.5% I love Tenfiddy. It gets you where you need to be in a hurry.

Heavy boots of lead imperial stout by single cut is my current favorite. Tough to find though

I am blaming you bastids for this. I left the office around 530 today. Stopped off at the corner beverage store in the hopes of snagging some Ten Fiddy. They did not have any but I saw some G13 IPA 420 Strain so I grabbed a 6er of that.
As I was checking out, I saw a sign that said, "Have one on us!" on a 6 pack of this Coffee Porter on the counter, free Beer!! I gabbed one to take home and cool down. I was a block from the house and "POP!!!" the top of the can exploded out and sprayed coffee porter all over the inside of my FJ Cruiser. I was confused at first, WTF was that!!?? Was my first reaction then I look over and saw the can on its side gurgling the remainder into the passenger seat. Bad words were yelled I tossed the can onto the weather tech floor mat and finished the drive home. In seconds I had a shop vac out and was trying to extract as much of it out of the seat as possible. Then I went to town trying to clean the truck.... more bad words... I looked up at the headliner... more bad words... I have a stanley steamer appointment tomorrow. All for this. ![]() I will be hungover tomorrow.

I think I'm going to have a bottle of that tonight. It'll be my first taste. When I saw it at the store I thought "several guys from the board like that stuff, I'll have some."
I also got 4 different flavors of Yeti stout and a Lagunitas.

I thought I'd check back in. The KBS was very good and surprisingly smooth. I guess that's to do with the 1 year aging. It had plenty of complex flavor.
I've also recently had these. This is tasty ![]() This is VERY tasty ![]() The 25th Anniversary is even better than the two previous. The Vanilla, oak aged is good, but not my favorite.

+2 on the Old Rasputin. Actually, I’m at -2 of the four at the moment.

They're aged in bourbon and rye whiskey barrels.
It's pretty darn good. Very different than Old Rasputin. Definitely taste burbon and raisinish at first, then dark chocolate notes, with vanilla, some fruits i can't quite tell, then molasses then coffeeish with more burbon.

Sold as a Scotch Ale, but I would call it close to a Stout. Dirty Bastard..a very good beer

Nope that's a true Scotch Ale and I love it! I make one very similar in taste to that.
And while we're on the topic of Founders brews... I had a CBS a few months ago while I was visiting my brother and really liked it. When I licked my lips after drinking it, I could still taste the maple syrup almost like I had just had a big stack of pancakes.

Well, at least I'm not alone, in my Love for these awesome Beers.....
The 'lightest' beer I like is Newcastle Ale. When I don't want a 'buzz', I go for Kaliber or Clausthaler 'Dry Hopped' Non-Alcholoc Beers. My Wife's favorite is Gregory Stout.... ;-}

I sell Sam Smith's chocolate stout in my store. I also sell their Apple Cider by the way, which is excellent.
![]() My favorite Ale is called Green's. For taste, smoothness, and just nice drinkability I think it's the best beer that I sell. Ayinger lager is nice too. It is almost heavy for a lager. I would say in the US, it would be considered a light ale.

I ran into some Fifty Fifty "Eclipse" at the store a couple of weeks ago (the last winter or two I haven't found as much stout as usual
). It was good, so we went back to see if they had more, and they did, but this time, they had multiple kinds. What we got is from 2017.They are a little sweeter than some of the stouts that we normally drink, but they have been very tasty. I think the first one that we had was the Apple Brandy. I think they only had one, so I didn't realize that there were different varieties, but I think the top was blue. And then we had the Evan Williams and then Coffee. We have the Rye Cuvee and the Grand Cru left. I'd go back and buy the rest that they have, but this stuff is not cheap. Fortunately, it's strong (11%) and comes in a bigish bottle (22oz) so the missus and I usually split one. (We don't drink much) 2016 Quote:
