In the shootout, some of the bikers reportedly were shooting at police. I guarantee you, the aftermath would have looked quite different if the instigators were Crips and Bloods instead of fat old white guys the cops related to...

You're claiming fewer people were shot because most involved were white and didn't want to shoot more than they had to? Wow. How often have there been mass gunfights like this in public? Are you basing that claim on past experience or is it just a hunch? Pretty sure the cops stop shooting when the bad guys put down their guns and that goes double for when it's in a public place with lots of bystanders and cell phone cameras. Call me crazy.

This is nonsense and is exactly the opposite of what actually happens. The race of the perpetrator is rarely if ever included in a print article unless they are white

You really don't get it do you? If this was two black gangs fighting and shooting a the police, they would have tear gases them all, put them all in restraints and turned the dogs loose. Fact of the matter, they were white and got a "pass". I do note that they are all being charged with an organized crime charge and being held on $1m bond. There is a double standard that we should admit and talk about.

I guess I don't. You're saying cops would have responded to gunfire by black suspects by using tear gas, but are somehow racists for responding to gunfire by white suspects with .... gunfire? So using less than lethal force against bad guys with guns is what they would have done with black suspects. What am I missing here? Since when do cops respond to gunfire with dogs and tear gas? What planet are you living on?

Bull ****. There is a double standard but it does not match your bias.

If a black gang were involved, the president would be saying how the cops over-reacted.

NFL teams would be threatening to boycott Texas.

The DOJ would be launching investigations to support their premature conclusions of constitutional rights violations.

Revs Jesse and Al would be there shaking down all the local businesses trying to extort money from them so they wouldn't get slapped with the race card,

and people would be breakin windows and stealing TV's and burning down their neighborhood, just because they could get away with it.

All while blamin' you know who for everything.

It didn't even happen and yet both sides are still showing their outrage.
