-   -   Pluto Mission a Scam? (http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=875023)

Dude, It ain't me that said it. I believe it and I am a total science/astro junkie! Everyday I talk to the kids about the mission and Pluto and fascinated at the whole thing.

Its suggested that it is fairly young - 100 million years or so, has a Nitrogen atmosphere, water. Pretty darn far away but image if the volcanos could produce enough heat to make some form of life occur.

You have to admit it's a beautiful thing.

"Thee...oooooopff"

Watched it a few times and it brought a smile to my face each time. Such a deserving asshat. If only we lived in a world where more people weren't afraid to do the same ("I'll sue you!") What a nation of babies we've become. Hats off to Buzz A. and the others like him that did great things back when this nation was still great - before it was ruined by lawyers and liberals.

Oh sure but what have you done for us lately? Where is my flying car? Huh? HUH?

scottmandue 07-17-2015 12:30 PM

I will be serious for a moment (no... really).
If you haven't seen the Hubble IMAX movie you should put in on your bucket list.

Ok, so other galaxies are closer to us then Pluto? Of them we can get clear and sharp images, but for Pluto we have to send a probe.

Or are the photos of other galaxies just what they (or theire computers) THINK they look like?!

Anyways, I am just fed up with this "We have to discover how everything began", money wasting crap.

I was very curious about this, so I did a little research...

New pic of Pluto:

But, like I said, it's not just about a picture of Pluto...

That's not Pluto!
It is one of it's moons, Charon.

Buzz has a mean hook, he got the respect he deserves. :D

javadog 07-18-2015 12:20 PM

Pluto, Schmuto... whatever.

I was making a joke inside a joke. Went right past him, I suspect. Was going to make a joke about meatballs, but I did not.

My favorite image of Pluto, so far:

Nice, digital enhancement of the surface topography.

So I dont see how the pictures could be computer generated.

You are so right Doug. I don't believe computers are real, but I have several. They claim to connect me to the "internet" where I can go to message boards and discussing things with other "people."

Just so you know hamsters, I'm on to it. I know every one of you is an intelligent, giant alien hamster telling me what you think I need to know by mind control. (Except maybe PARF. There is no intelligence there.)

Others may think they are sitting in front of a computer, but I see them tapping on a piece of 2x8 with a decent sized floor tile propped up in front of them.

It's the ones who don't believe in 2x8s who are crazy.

Coincidence? I think not!

Just as the cartoon, Pluto (the not-quite-a-planet) is clearly a Disney construct, which is obviously run by Masons and Illuminati.

I am sure Hugh is even in on it. :D

If Pluto is Mickey's dog, what is Goofys status?

This would have to be one of the greatest photos ever.

Pluto from 18,000km.
