Some things work for me. Others don't.
Just my opinion. Things that work. Shaved rain gutters (been done before but adds to simplicity). Hood lines continued across the roof and tail. (Cool idea and showcases some nice work if it's metal) Headlights (trims should be body color though) Wheels. (Never liked them on early cars but they Work on this one) Bumper treatment Fuel door is a pretty cool mod. Smoothed out lips on the flares. Things I can do without. Fender vents. R taillights Early bright work just looks wrong on this car. It would look cleaner with black. It seems like he did a lot of nice subtle things that made the car really clean then muddied it up with a few other things. Could have used a tiny bit of restraint. Just my take on the car itself.

Too busy.
I do hope he sells it for a king's ransom. Because Murica!

Didn't Rod Emory help with this one? It looks like it. Interesting car but not my cup of tea.

I think its' great to try new ideas. Some I don't particularly care for, but it's good to try! You never know what's gonna stick.
At Rennsport this year Magnus was really busy setting up. Still, I walked over and introduced my 13 year old son, Eli. Magnus stopped, talked with Eli for 10 minutes, gave him a bunch of swag, and was totally cool! Eli is now FOCUSED on getting a Porsche as his first car (914, most likely). Mr. Walker is pretty okay in my book. Al |

The bag of tricks is rather small I'd say. Louvers were kewl on rear deck lid (Grumman) so let's move em around. Yea the fender!! Next the roof! I think just like forward dating cars in the 80's most Magnus mods may be a chuckle down the road. |

Was not too impressed. I love the 964, but this is trying too hard to be a Singer. Unfortunately not at the same quality level.
Really did not like the lip less fender treatment, looked too potato chip. I also agree the 964 body work is not retro and does not work here. All IMHO....

I`m not a big fan of this car, but I like some of the bits.
I like Magnus and the things he does. I`d love to visit his warehouse someday. Why arent buildings called built? |

Looks nice and clean on the front, A bit awkward in the back.
To be honest, It fits Magnus's style perfectly. I may not like the blend or eras, but I think Magnus wants that. Though getting away from the cosmetics. What has been changed under the belly? Because that is what matters after all!

The thing I like least about 964s is the massive front bumper/air dam and this car does nothing to fix that mess. Louvers and gas cap just add clutter to an otherwise slick design.

I don't know if post-production effect, but the paint is amazing.
Recall a thread a few months back where a Singer was at a local event, and in person the design and engineering detail on that car was even better than the 1/18 scale I had seen Chris Harris rip around a track etc. IOW perhaps this car, too, would be better viewed in person. I don't know. On screen: I like it.

Don't know if you guys saw this or not but Magnus' wife passed away a few weeks ago. Very sad.
I guess the new hipster cool thing is to not like Magnus. I don't get it. I'm not a RWB guy but others are. To each his own.

This car would be great with those louvers on a flat nose.
Magnus does what he wants, regardless of what others think. Good for him, sometimes I guess. It felt weird to have someone come in as one of us, and turn that into a marketing platform. Regardless, he does a lot of things many of us would enjoy doing, even if we don't want to market it. People have their own reasons for how they feel, and what they like, some personal. You will have that. |

As an overall package I like it. There are a few details I wouldn't have done like the tail lights, but I'm not Magnus. I like the small stuff like the fuel filler and actually really dig rounding the deck lid corners; I think that was a great subtle touch that an untrained eye wouldn't catch. There are very few sharp corners on a 911 so taking the one and rounding it is cool in my book.

Best looking 964 ever, a stubby whale tail, jag styled exhaust, and fender vents to eliminate the gas fumes, I want that grill. Hate the mirrors, thanks Magnus for the inspiration, and now maybe 964's can be R Gruppe cool too. Someone photo shop the fonze and put him on a jet ski.
