I can't wait to see the part where he drives the Corvette over the cliff.
Seriously stoked. |

FWIW, to everyone beeotching about the over-merchandization (is that a word?) you do realize the same thing was done back when the first trilogy was out, right? Granted, I don't remember seeing Star Wars oranges, but I had the lunch boxes, the action figures, the light sabers, the bed sheets...and yes, the underwear (Fruit of the Loom, if I remember correctly).

I didn't understand the merch craze the first time around. I was twelve when the first one came out and the only thing I bought was the poster and that was replaced when The Next Big Thing dropped...

Excellent review of phantom menace:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxKtZmQgxrI After phantom menace who cares about star wars? Not like Disney could mess it up any more. The whole blockbuster movie scene is stupid. When I was a kid I figured when I was an adult we'd all be wise to the marketing but nope. |

Worth the hype!
Oh, and didn't get to sit next to the milfy mom, but did wind up next to their nanny (fit to break up any Hollywood marriage).

Looks like a remake.
Looks like all the other "girl kicks a s s movies where they accomplish anything and everything with little to no training while the guys are shown to be inept." Looks like I won't be seeing it. Last edited by manbridge 74; 12-19-2015 at 07:26 AM.. |
