I recently bought a 2015 F150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost - it goes like stink. Gets decent gas mileage and does what I need. I had been looking for a Tacoma but they are stupid priced here in CA. $2-3k above MSRP.

I had a dealer call me about a 4x4 2013 Tacoma with 50k on the dial for $30k. No thanks, I didn't pay that much for the Ford.

Dealer installed option. I'm hoping I can sell the chrome ones and get some money back. Unfortunately the colour doesn't match and the gaps are off. The dealer is going to pay to have it fixed.

Look up the crash test video's of the new aluminum Ford. It may have a safe cabin but everything else on that truck is destroyed. Like a Coke can on wheels. Repair cost are much higher on the new Ford trucks.

Still as impressed with it as the day I bought it. I added the TRD grill as I didn't like the chrome. The 5.7 litre has massive power. Passing on the hwy makes it feel like my TT!
Nice truck. Agree on the grill, the chrome is a bit much and the black looks good.

That's called good engineering. The truck deforms to absorb the crash energy so your body doesn't have to. The old cars that were built like a tank are some of the worst for crash safety, because they just pass that impact energy right along to your body.

I recently replaced my 02 Tundra with a 2011 4x4 5.7 Limited Tundra..... I love it. Tons of power.... pulls my race car without breaking a sweat and I love the black with RedRock leather interior. Should last me a long time.
