I like Tebow, but also think he is at best a mediocre QB at the NFL level. But he is also an exceptional competitor, leader, hard worker, and a good man.
Johnny Football is also at best a mediocre QB at the NFL level. But he is also a spoiled arrogant brat, a druggie, a drunk, and lazy. Given the choice between two mediocre QBs, I'll take the one that will show up sober to practice. As an aside, it may not matter before long, because I'll be shocked if Manziel lives to see 25.

On the other hand, it might not matter who's at QB with the Broncos D. So, maybe Sanchez is ok? |

Sanchez might not be that bad really that's right. Siemian (from Northwestern) who was our 3rd string QB last year has really got some untapped skills, and has a great arm. Broncos could have a QB controversy between these two.

Then maybe hire Tebow to be his roommate and shadow.

Being a good quarterback is 50% mental, and 50% skill. While Tebow's mind is in the right place and is a student of the game, his skills might lack a bit, and his release speed needs help.
Manziel has all the skill he needs to a be a great one, but doesn't care one whit about applying that talent, and would rather sew his wild oats. |

I don't agree that Manziel has all of the physical skills to be a great NFL QB. He had the skills to be a great college QB, but that does not directly translate to being a great pro. Most of the NFL scouting reports rated his arm as good but not great, accuracy as good but not great, not all that big, and he's way too quick to bail on a play and rely on his feet. Ask Kapernick and RG3 how well that scramble first mentality applies to the NFL long-term. The only mobile QBs that have really succeeded in the pros only scramble as a last resort, they are still capable of standing in the pocket and throwing lasers.

If the other team doesn't score, all it takes is one field goal to win.
If those were my two quarter back choices, get Tebow out there, and focus in the best defense possible.
