I have never been of fan, but a DUI is no big deal.

...and he was asleep. If he had shut the car off and put the key on the curb there would be no charges. I know someone who went through this, someone who was kind of what you call "bad seed " he was sleeping in his car which was in a parking lot, keys were in his pocket, cops stop by > instant DUI. Sounds like Tiger took too much of something... he will need a good lawyer, could go scott-free.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell ya.
What shocks me is how the media can just make up whatever facts they want to use in a story.

Apparently, he was tested twice, blew a .00 and was cooperative.

And the officers claim of smelling alcohol on his breath, lets just say that's a horse**** claim used by too many police officers to justify sobriety tests. Sometimes cops are your friends and sometimes they are not.

This. Tiger is stating he had an unexpected reaction to prescription meds. If true his lawyers will get him off no doubt.

Complete opposite happened to a friend of mine.

He was new to town and went to strip club, after knocking back a few that put him over the limit, he accidentally went South instead of North on the highway which put him on the opposite side of town. He exited the highway since he needed to pee, got out of the car and did his business. On the way back to his car, which is pulled over on the side of road, the police see him and arrest him for Public Intoxication. They couldn't get him on a DUI since he wasn't in his car and the keys were in his pocket, even though there was no other way he could have gotten there. He was really lucky that he didn't wreck or get a DUI. Laws are odd sometimes.

Man, the stories are all over the place. I just read he did blow and blew a 0.0.

I read the police found him asleep in the car and had no idea where he was. Possibly blasted on painkillers.

Not sure what to believe anymore.

It should be a very interesting trial, if it goes to trial. I have to think that the state's moves on this will be directed from a very high level.
