When we were kids we'd write our names on the sidewalks at night.
That was considered hard core juvenile delinquency back then.
No computers or smart phones then...had to make our own entertainment.

SIL texted the missus today that it's 105° in WA state. WTF is wrong with the left coast? I thought you guys were always nice?

We were only 97° today, and then got some rain in the afternoon that bumped it down to 85°.

I have found as I get older, when I sweat too much, just keeping hydrated is not enough. I have to get my electrolytes and minerals back in balance or I get horrible leg cramps at night. A quart of sports drink, a banana and an orange usually does it for me. If I fail to do that, I really pay for it. I wake up screaming in agony.

What humidity levels? We hit 90 degrees plus... and then get a 10 minute rain sprinkle onto the nice hot pavement... when humidity is already at 80%+. Sauna city.

I picked up some of these "paletas" for the guys. Pepino (cucumber) and sandia (watermelon). Good stuff, drops your body temp quick. Sprinkle some Tajin on them and you're cooler than a Polar Bear's toenails....

I detailed a client's '07 C4S today.

96* and 50% RH in the shop.

I drank 3 liters of bottled water with electrolytes and 1 1/4 quarts of Powerade... plus a coke and 2 beers this evening.

Whizzed 2X today! Lots and lots of sweat!

SoCal is still awesome though! Just have to work slow and steady to get it done.

Cramps really suck. I started taking potassium pills daily. They really work.

Prescription or otherwise?
What dosage, please?

Come on over to South Georgia, 100 degrees and 70%+ humidity! In addition, we have a generous supply of mosquitoes and gnats!

This is what I use.
One packet for a gallon of cool water. Used this in the Desert. Don't mix it like it says on the package, dilute about 25%. It works. And slow and steady on the work with plenty of breaks.
