I have gained an appreciation for a lightly toasted pretzel bun, with local raised ground chuck (not grocery store meat). I usually spread some lettuce, provelone cheese, mayo, a little ketchup, and if I have any bacon on hand...a couple slices. My next attempt will include an over easy egg added just like I get at the resturants.

I like Culver's Butter Burgers when wanting a burger on the road.

I'm tiring of WB, aka. Whataripoff. Too inconsistent, but if I found one that has greasy double meat with bacon and cheese, I'd drive the extra mile.
We have burger joints everywhere, Top Notch, Might Fine, Sandy's, Huts, In-N-Out, Five Guys, Dan's, PTerry's, etc... All of them are better than Whataripoff. I cook more burgers than I buy.
