I use their Cafe Verona beans in my espresso machine when making americanos. Double shot, 8 oz of hot water, and dash of cream. Just the right combo IMO. I also like Pete's Maj Dickinson blend but it's a bit stronger. I don't like either's espresso beans and the drip coffee from the store is too strong/burnt. For kicks I want to try Black Rife Co. but I'm guessing they are primarily a merchandise outfit and their coffee likely sucks. The Lavazza stuff is darn good too...they get alot of $$ for it though.

I now travel with my own supply of good old Folgers classic roast that will work in the hotel coffee pots. I have no issues with Starbucks. They supply a product that some citizens of the world enjoy. Power to them. Oh yea, my wife is a master gardener and has a compost and plants a lot of flowers and keeps having me dig holes for trees, and plants. She went to that Starbucks and asked for the bag of spent coffee grounds to add to the soil for some plants we have here. The gave her a bag of coffee grounds for free. So Starbucks may be great for some plants that need the coffee for the PH change in the soil.

Tried a Dutch brothers coffee the other day, it was actually quite tasty, no comparison to Starbucks

I think Peet's coffee is the most vile thing on the planet. I pour out half and replace with honey from the squeeze bottle.
I like my daily Sbux venti blonde with an inch of steamed almond milk. Cafe au lait, if you prefer. With 3 teaspoons of sugar. YMMV

I can honestly say I have never been in a Starbucks , for whatever reason they never appealed to me . If I purchase coffee out it's generally a fast food place like McDonalds . But I've never been on Facebook or any other social media so I know I am in the minority .

I either drink Folgers from home, craft service on set or gas station coffee. I can't stand being in Starbucks waiting for them to make all these fancy ass drinks when all I want is black coffee, no cream, no sugar.
And besides, it tastes burnt and is overpriced.

So I will say McD coffee has greatly improved and I will drink it when on travel. I am a total admitted coffee snob - it took me 3 months to decide on a replacement for our old espresso machine. IMO the coffee served at SB stores is not good. Espresso drinks are, but I don't have the wallet ($$) to afford them on a normal day of life basis and I don't need the calories & fat they come with.
We very much enjoy coffee with a punch - but not burned. Verano double shot, hot water, and a tiny (1 tsp) dash of half & half and no sugar. Richard WTF...sugar in coffee? |

I stop at Starbucks when I’m traveling and need the caffeine. I swear they spike the stuff. I never gat a jolt like I get from Starbucks. Prolly why they’re still in business.

I never liked their coffee. Burnt sums it up. They made a white chocolate mocha that I could deal with once in a blue moon.
When they took a stand against the Second Amendment I decided to refuse to drink the stuff even if it was free.

Started boycotting them a few years ago when they wouldn't serve anyone with a gun.....Not that I carry a gun anymore, just don't like the liberal attitude of cramming their agenda down my throat......Has nothing to do with their coffee....

I’ve never had a Starbucks coffee so I guess I’m boycotting.
Not really a coffee drinker...

I guess, realistically, I'm boycotting Dodge trucks, and Eggo waffles and Sketchers shoes and Schwab discount brokers, too, in the same way the OP is boycotting Starbucks - ie, I just have no reason to buy the products that they offer...
