So the Beavers are an all female football team?
A female work buddy was in a all girls volleyball team called the Growlers. LOL, I don't think she or they knew what growler is slang for. |

 The same Miss. State player, Elijah MacNamee, that knocked Florida State out of their Regional with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th just did the same thing to Vanderbilt in game one of our Super Regional! Hail State! Go Dogs! |

Momma nature was kind. Beavers go on to Omaha..a close one over the Gophers 6-3.
The Gophers were in it until the end. They actually had a lead over the Beavers, the first time since the regionals began for the Beavers to trail. It was a really close game.

Highlights from our game last night.....it was pretty epic, really. Could have gone either way. Credit to Auburn for their pitching and defense and getting so far in this year's post-season. They will be back next year.

That home steal was pretty fantastic...gutty as hell. Thanks for the highlights.
Felt a bit sad for Auburn...literally played their hearts out. (edit) But hell, I was doing something important yesterday. Getting away from the females for a couple of hours, just Evren, I, and his 10 year old son. Took a Mustang Run out along a river road here. Twisty, but grown up area now. So, no really pushing it. The important time? Stopped in a park along the river...Evren's son skipping stones across the water. Just a great time watching a kid be a kid. Yep, I'll be tuned in Saturday. The cream has risen to the top. There's going to be some great baseball ahead!
