From the aircraft world, check out ACF-50
https://learchem.com/products/acf-50.html https://youtu.be/WP7lkev2qIc I have also used Corrosion X, its ok. As well as Bosehield https://boeshield.com/general-use/ Didn't like the spray can. Boiled linseed oil in sealed tubes has been the standard for years. After 35 years in the aviation industry, I keep coming back to ACF-50. ACF has the advantage of smelling decent, unlike the others. Do not use prior to paint, the stuff creeps uphill and will mess up paint prep. I would tell my customers to not use for a year prior to major paint. 35 years in the SFO Bay Area means corrosion has been a lifelong battle.
