Mine has shipped with an ETA of 4/30. I did not receive a new email.

EauRouge 04-28-2021 11:25 AM

I ordered one for my 930 with the recommended stiffer springs.

Racerbvd 04-28-2021 02:53 PM

Mine arrived today, just as I was leaving for a meeting.
Opened it up and peaked in the box, can't wait to really check it out.

Racerbvd 04-29-2021 10:21 AM

This thing looks sweet, can't wait until the engine in the 914 is freshened and back in the car.

I’d love to hear feedback from someone who has actually tested it, and better still, who can compare it with other typical alternatives :-)

freesaints 04-29-2021 12:52 PM

Just received mine, excited to get it installed. I currently have the Wevo that I'll be swapping out so should have some feedback shortly.

Ok, when the 81 is back together, I will literally be able to test each shifter (will pull the newest out of the 914, which is right ahead of the SC going back together) And yes, I corrected the hasty assembly as I wanted to see how it look together :Dhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1619892290.jpg

I do have a tip to offer for assembly, getting the inside spacers to stay in while lining up the hole is frustrating, so a dab of glue in the OUTSIDE of the spacer holds it in place while you line up the shifter

BuddaLun 05-01-2021 10:42 AM

Byron - Do you also have the Stomski for comparison?

As a matter of fact I do.

Most likely, that is going in the track car.

You guys are too slow, installed:

Initially in the installation video, vlad installs the lever backwards, then magically it gets flipped around once he installs it in the car.

The three holes in the housing go to the rear, and the lever should angle back..

smessing 05-03-2021 04:23 AM

Anyone else install the shifter and have a review? I'm about ready to purchase but on the fence about the 2.5mm vs 2mm spring.

kinein 05-03-2021 10:53 AM

Mine arrives today

snbush67 05-03-2021 03:31 PM

I went with the 2.5mm spring, it feels good. I wouldn’t change a thing, but I think that it would be easy to swap out the springs.

The coupler is very nice, the whole system is precise. I had to make a couple of adjustments at the coupler, and go through the gears several times before I got it perfect. The reduced throw is very noticeable. It seems like 1st, 5th and reverse are really short.

On my old shifter I had to finesse it a bit to get in 1st, 5th and reverse, I don’t have any problems with this shifter, it’s almost too easy.

Mine is in transit with their pedals. Met the Numeric Team on Saturday at Carlisle. Good folks!

Just curious, the shifter that is on an elevated assembly with linkage and rod. What shifter is that, and have you used it in your SC before?

It is a Hargett Performance Pro shifter,
"Hargett Shifter Assembly | PCARMARKET" https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/hargett-shifter-assembly/

"Hargett G50 Shifter (Page 3) - Line.17QQ.com" https://line.17qq.com/articles/acurawhhx_p3.html

We had it in a supercharged SC, but returned to stock when sold. Definitely not great for date night, but for a mostly track street car, yes.

Have finish freshening up the twin plug 2.2(4 banger) and figure out a ignition system for it, since when 1st built by RPM in the 80s used a Naps Z distributor.
