3.4 964 cams 911 chips FUEL INJECTOR HELP

I had my 3.2 stock ones rebuilt. Rebuilt motor to 3.4. Already leaking. I want to upgrade to a four hole or something. I would like quality. Any recommendations? I have an email out to Steve W but not sure when I’ll hear back. Thanks

I've had good service from Wayne at RC Fuel Injection. They do testing and refurbishing as well as well custom injectors.

Yeah. I just had them sent off. Got them back and two would not click open and now one is leaking. I’m done. New ones it is which I have found. Thanks

I have run 4 hole 0280 155 931's successfully on my previously reasonably stock 3.2.

Since you have modified the engine, I suggest at the minimum you do a dyno run to confirm the AFR's are safe. However, I suggest you go the next step and have Steve do a custom chip to make the most of the not inconsiderable money you have spent to date.

However, the next step really should be to toss the AFM and go aftermarket ECU.

Steve Wong made me a custom 3.4 chip. AFR readings appear to be where they should be. Well at least on one bank
I’ve got 5O Motorsports injectors arriving tomorrow.

Laughable! And what will be gained, with all the money & time spent? Also, the resale value is reduced, another Mickey Moused 911 3.2.

If you need new injectors try this company. I just need one to replace a bad one after I got a set back from Mr Injector for service. Worked perfect.

I offer full MAF system for the 3.2L cars, includes New Bosch OEM modern day 4 hole injectors that are 34lb injectors. These only work with my full MAF setup.

If you decide to use some kind of non OEM injector you really should get a decent Wide Band O2 gauge to verify mixture is correct at idle, part throttle and WOT. Not all injectors have same dead times (on/off) time.

Here's what you want to verify with engine fully warm and stock O2 sensor disconnected.
1 - At idle your AFR is in the 13.8 to 14.4
2 - In 4th gear at 3000RPM on level road you are in the 14.4 to 14.8 range
3 - At 3000RPM 5th gear go for WOT and the AFR MUST drop below 13.0

If those check out you should be good. If you need to richen mixture you can simply use the DME Fuel Quality switch to add 6% more fuel. Read up on the DME switch operation.

Oh Dave, you really should get out more and drive a modernised 3.2. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Finding factory injectors is nearly impossible today, so locating suitable alternative is not a bad idea if you have a bad set of injectors.

My only point is you really need to verify that they work properly using a Wide Band O2 gauge.

The newer multi-hole injectors are modern day tech as is a Hitachi MAF conversion. These modern devices replace older 1980s tech but it MUST be done correctly. I've done this many times correctly and with positive results far better than the factory did back in the 80s. For example try driving one of these cars from sea level in Texas to Breckenridge Colorado through a 12,000' pass, the car will run like crap after 6000' with stock setup because the Altitude sensor in the stock setup only pulls out 6% fuel at 3900' after that it just gets richer and richer! My MAF solution solves this 100% with rock solid Air Fuel Ratio numbers that don't drift as altitude increases. That's just one example improvement.

I'll share a injector that I have used successfully, but you may need to make small adjustment to fuel mixture with fuel quality switch in the DME.
These are the 24lb 6 hole FORD motorsports injectors, they are NOT a perfect match but they can be calibrated if carefully done with a WBO2 gauge.

Part # M-9593-LU24A

Be sure you get FORD OEM units, lots of China knock offs! The run $200-$300 for set of 8 and they need electrical adapters.

Here are the adapters

I bought a set of barely used five O Motorsports injectors. Seem to work great. I guess it’s smoother?? I don’t know. They don’t leak. Tested them all on a 9volt. All worked.
