what does interior code "lt" mean?
I have a 1990 964 c4
On my build tag under the front hood it's interior code is "LT" Is it Leather or Leatherette? |

IT is a 2 letter ID for the entire interior componets.. IE carpet color, leather color trim level etc...
The fastest way to decipher it is to call Porsche Cars North America. They can let you know how it breaks down in just a couple of minutes. I went through this very thing for my 964. my code was LC , which in a 91 964 meant my carpet was 8UT which is Cashmere Beige, and the Interior was Leather, etc etc.. Anyway, they are very helpful there and do not mind answering your question. Lon
