Steve Wong at www.911chips.com is the man. Do a search on the forum for "chip" or "steve wong". Lots of satisfied users for your year 3.2.

Vmax, I just installed a Steve W. chip in my 84 cab last week and it is an amazing difference. The car is much more responsive especially at lower revs. The best $300 I've spent so far. I wouldn't think of any other chip than Steve's. Have fun.

I have a Steve Wong chip and am most pleased.
As for regular chips, the new Lay's Stax that are a Pringle's knock off seem to work well at the wheel of the Porsche as well, easy to dump out while one hand is one the wheel.

I have three perfomance chips by various programmers (Not by Steve). The best is one of Autothority's later burns for my '85. I would describe the difference as making the response "crisper". Others I know have described it as "waking up" a tired engine.

Read this thread for insights into problematic performance chip issues:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=221772 And then read this thread about what performance chips really do: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=215204

Welcome to the board ! Itīs the greatest.
Have also been thinking about installing the S.W. Chip. Hesitating for fear of increasing the wear of the engine. Probably not measurable, but still..
