Price Check, MY 911 SC

This car runs and drives as Sweet as it looks. SALE PENDING

Always owned by an Enthusiast as a weekend car. The First was a 20+ year PCA member. Garaged and never smoked in.
87,500 miles, on this speedo that was changed at 1,500 miles by the first owner to replace the 85 MPH speedo.

Black Metallic on Black int. with full black leather factory Recaro Sport Seats that I installed a little over a year ago. They were out of a low mile Turbo ( 40 K ?? )

Fuchs 7's and 9's that are a matched set in their original factory finish. They were also off a low mile Turbo and Looked to have the original tires on them when I bought them. They now have Bridgestone S03's.
The motor was freshened at 60 K miles By NARW in Reseda Ca. To replace 2 broken studs. Race Ware studs were used. The Cases were split and bearings replaced, Timing chains / rails/ gear, clutch, etc , etc.
Klaus is pretty picky if any of you know him.

TRE set up the suspension replacing the Bilsteins with Sports Rear and HD's up front and 26mm rear torsion bars, Turbo tie rods, etc. Lowered and alligned and runs down the road as straight as an Arrow.

The Bad, drivers door replaced last year from a nuckle head that ran into it. Dave at TRE Recommended Rafael @ Arroyo Auto Co. in North Hollywood for the repairs. This is a great shop that specializes in High end Auto body work. For example there were 3 Ferarri Dinos at the shop when I dropped off the car. It was repaired Right and of course I had other stuff done to clean up the car while it was there The car came back better than before.

I've replaced all the Lenses, plus the rear center lense with a new old stock lense.

I have always had pro shops do the work on the car with a do it right attitude in my 6 years of ownership. I have my receipts and the original tool kit and the cars books.

I didn't include everything, but you get the idea. The car looks Fresh inside and out and runs very strong.

What do you think is fair market Value as a current opportunity has me thinking of selling.

Thanks ( pictures are current ) Edit: Has sunroof

That is a BEAUTIFUL car, dialed in right by pros.

You know I've always been a fan.

Bob, there's a guy on the East coast who posts here who is dead set on a black on black SC. Gotta be black on black, gotta be an SC. He posted some pics of a fairly dodgy looking one he was getting ready to pay $19K for. Posted in the last week.

Do a search for him on this board, send him an e-mail. Your car is exactly what he is looking for, and he seems ready, willing and able to pay what it is worth.

Good luck!

Thank's very much for praise and the tip. If I can get a good price this could happen, even though I can't believe I hit the submit button

Stunning.... What number are you considering, low 20's would be justifiable, for the right buyer. If the rest of the car and mechanicals are as nice as those pics she is a fabulous find. Good luck with your sale and new endeavor.

I would pay a premium for this car. It happends to be one of my favorite SCs on the board, very well balanced and a great looker.

Thanks again.

This SC just came together nicely thanks to inspiration from this board.
It's mostly stock really with just the right amount of bad attitude added IMO to make a nice weekend driver. Or it's like medicine if the worlds got you down on any day.

Great looking car, I would say around $15K is realistic. For $18-$20 you are looking at pretty solid 3.2's and even some 87-88's with G50s for not a lot more. Low 20's will get a pristine G50 3.2, mid to upper 20's is for a solid 964 or even an high-mileage 993.

Just my $.02..

Gorgeous car. Remember start high and go lower if need be. It doesn't work the other way around.

Good luck.

I would say it's worth more then 15K

You can find a nice SC for 13-15 but it may need a clutch, head studs, top end rebuild etc and have over 100,000 miles.

Not too many black on black SC coupes in really nice shape are around either.

Also being owned by an enthusist is always a plus.

Price also depends on how quick you want to sell the car.

I would not let that puppy go.

Bob I have to say I've had a picture of your car on my computer ever since you posted this photo.

I don't even like black cars but yours has a really nice balance of the right modifications done correctly. Definately one of the most desirable SCs I've ever laid eyes on.

Thanks again.

It's nice to hear from others I still have a good eye for putting together a nice ride. This was my third Porsche.

If I do this the funds from the sale will help a little with another ride I'm considering.
It's not a car but a 2001 Kenworth W900 W/ C15 Cat @ 475 HP with an 18 speed Roadranger. It's a friends who's retiring and another trip of a ride, for work of course.

Oh, and I agree about the Ass comment. It probably wouldn't be right for a cheap one.

Wow I guess you'd be able to help out with some hauling with a ride like that!

I haven't been over there in awhile and didn't ask. TRE is Great shop that set the car to it's present ride height.
I was going to go with bigger Torsion bars front and rear and Dave recommended Not to for what the car was used for. I recall he said it would be too stiff for a driver. He advised the 26 MM bars rear only and to stay stock up front. I thought that was pretty cool he didn't go for what would have been more work and a bigger sale. It was the right call.

The shock combo idea I picked up from Steve Weiner over at Rennlist. Another good call I listened too.

Don't take that the wrong way, it's an old saying pertaining to car sales.. simply means that for every car there is someone out there that MUST own it at any price.

$20K isn't insane for a non-original SC just a bit high IMHO (you asked!).. hope you get what you want for it!

Very sweet car.

I'd ask $19,900 and be patient.
