Please allow me to show you my 1974 hotrod ...
After one year of searching and almost one year of modifying my dream car is finally ready.
At this point I want to thank the following guys in particular: Scott from Saint Paul, MN who sold me a fantastic car. Dave from Moorpark, CA and Bruce from BC, Canada who had the patience to sell parts overseas. Steve at Rennsport Systems who helped me so much in selecting parts and shipping them over to Germany! Oliver at Boxer-Motors Limited, Germany who excellently executed the modifications. It is about a mexicoblue 1974 Porsche 911. It is in a fantastic condition, has zero rust, has never been welded and still wears the original paint. When I bought it, it was completely original and virtually it still is. The only exception is a freshly rebuilt 3.2 l engine equipped with 46mm PMO carbs. And of course all the parts which are necessary to handle the increase in HP, in particular the suspension. Although I will never build it back to the original specs I kept all the original parts. You never know... Well, some pictures say more than thousand words - but just if you drove it you would understand why I'm recently smiling all day long ... Greetings from Munich, Germany! Great looking car in a fantastic colour. Never seen one in the flesh in Europe, it's pretty extravagant and elegant at the same time. Viel Spass.

Sweet car, love the color!
I'd also be interested in info (and maybe more pics?) of your seats.

Markus,
Wow,....what a beautiful car and a "sleeper", too. The combination of light weight and excellent power makes a winning combination. My compliments to "the Chef",.... ![]() Mexico Blue is one of my all-time favorites. Well done!!!

What HE said! Gorgeous motor. Tell us about those seats! Are they height-adjustable? I'd like to pull out my electric seats, but I like having a height-adjustment. Most of the vintage-style seats on the market lack this.

Outstanding car. Interesting seat choice - What seats are those? |

Thank you all for the kind words!
Most questions are about the seats: They are Recaros called "Rallye II". I learned that Recaro introduced them in 1974 (fits good to my car, doesn't it ). My seats are actually stamped with 1977. I had them at a upholstery shop here in Munich. And yes I thought about other exhaust options but I really like the clear understatement. Due to the carbs the sound is great anyway! Some words about the wheels: I wanted to stay with the 15'' Fuchs wheels and again with the original look but wanted to have 215/60 at rear (like the Carreras had). The solution was a up-weld of the original wheels to 7 R specs. Greetings, Markus

Well done. I like the Euro bumper pads, the seats (especially) and the carbs. We don't get many like that around here. The only thing I could add for me is a more period steering wheel to compliment all you've done to keep it vintage.
