It would become his. The 911S was ordered for production based upon McQueen’s own 1969 that was stateside during production.
Of course, one might argue that any car drive by McQueen was “his,” and it no doubt adds provenance that multiplies the value of the car.

Not a 911 but just rewatched willy wonky and the chocloate factory (original version) and Charlie picks up the coin that buys him the golden ticket in a drain underneath a White 356.

Just watched Wrath of Man - with Jason Statham. In the scene about halfway through when they are entering a gang's lair, there is a yellow 911 cabriolet

I saw that move last night also. All the gang had classic cars. That guy has good taste with the Porsche I thought.

Technically a 930 but "Good Guys Wear Black" has some great Porsche footage.

I don’t think that is “technically” a 930. It appears to be a long hood with flares and a tail. Can’t imagine at that point in time anyone was backdating impact bumper cars.

I watched about half of The Dirt. A movie about Motley Crue. The singers girlfriend drives a Porsche. I stopped at the scene when the drunken singer crashes and kills the passenger. I remember when this happened. The singer had a DeTomaso Pantera. In the movie the car was a ****ty old Corvette. Come on Netflix cant you crash a Pantera?

Downhill Racer with Robert Redford has some nice scenes with this Porsche. Looks like there is ongoing debate about the specifics of the car used.

"Porsche 911 variant from the late 1960s with the “Sportomatic” semi-automatic transmission. Beyond that, there is debate regarding the model year (1968 vs. 1969), the exact model (911 S vs. 911 T), and whether or not it is a long wheelbase model."

What I found interesting was the interior. Looks like black corduroy inserts for the seats with peptia for the headrests only.

Movie is on Amazon Prime... for now.

How about Caddyshack. The spoiled brat Spaulding pukes into a 930 though it's open sunroof. Then the owners come out of the club and sit in it. Terrifying scene!

Patriot games 911, Weekend at Bernie's 911, Starsky and Hutch LH 911, I come in peace, Bullitt 356, Vacation 914 with surfboard sticking out of roof when Clark is buying the BB spoon, Once upon a time in Hollywood LH 911,Risky business 928, Cadillac man 2 944's, Leonard part 6( I'm pretty sure Bill C drives a camo 928 with a cannon mounted on the top), Condor man 911's, Doc Hollywood 356, 9 to 5 two 914's, Dream machine 911, Death race 911, yes I'll say it 16 candles 944 lol. Others have already mentioned No mans land (lot's of 911 content) and Commando (Sully's) 911 right before he get's "Let go". Another switch a roo is the opening of No man's land where the 1st undercover cop steals a black 3.2 or SC and when arriving at the chop shop the IB car magically turns into a long hood just by driving through the bay door. Why does everyone believe doing a back date takes so long!

Here's one that most likely hasn't been included yet!

About 1:09 in on this Official War video of Low Rider.

A very underrated group who is often overlooked.

I know the title of this thread includes the word "movies", but I just saw an ad for the limited-run series "Titans" to be broadcast on TNT starting 12 July 2021 and there was a dark drive by with an G-series 911 in the 30 second advert.

https://www.tntdrama.com/shows/titans/clips/birth-of-the-titans

Not being a subscriber to HBO Max, I don't know if this is the same series as the one shown on that streaming service or not, but I will probably check it out on the TNT cable network just to see how much screen time the 911 gets in the series.
