blinker problem

Hi All,

Recently finished up re-installing all lights and now the blinker "relay" is acting up and going "dinker dinker" at all times with the key on. The turn signals all turn on and off and work properly, the hazard works properly, the parking lights and headlights all work properly. Anyone have any idea as to what is going on? I now hear that darn dinker dinker in my sleep. Its driving me crazy.

You mean it's clicking but not activating the turn signal lights? That's really odd. Sounds like it's time for a new relay.

Exactly, it's clicking all the time, yet when I activate the turn signals or flashers, they work fine. Of course, the clicking continues as it should at that time. Is that a sign of a relay going bad?

Thanks Staygold and Bell. Strange, but it turns out to be a faulty brake warning switch on my recently replaced master cylinder. This is the two plug styler warning switch that is on a new 23mm Master that I up graded for use with the 930 calipers. Didn't realize that could cause a problem, but it seems to make sense....now. Thanks all.
