Regarding the fire truck thing - there was a case here 1-2 years back of a big water truck going to a forest fire, and of course it had to stop at the scales. It was overweight, so they made 'em dump out enough of the load to meet the weight rating...
Probably wasn't a fire truck with the lights flashing, I'm guessing. -Boyo |

Boyo, that happened in Idaho about two years ago.
I can remember seeing it on the news one night. messed up.

I don't have a front plate - the PO lost it. I have an oil cooler, splitter, etc... so wouldn't be able to install one, anyway.
BTW - The ricers I see at the local track usually just throw one on the dash (visible thru windshield). I guess it works.
