Ive updated on my 930,
the calipers were rubbing on the inside of the rim so i shaved the vents/grills? back about a quarter inch in order to fit, no issues with it so far

I just had a bare Euromeister 17x7 wheel weighed on the scales at the Fedex store and it came in at 17.3 lbs. That still strikes me as very impressive for a knock-off, given most people consider replicas to be synonymous with overweight.

I was just reading the rules for our local PCA DE classes and they state that replica Fuchs are not allowed. Do other regions allow them?
Wheels Any safe wheel, except aftermarket cast imitation Fuchs alloys, are acceptable. Carefully check older wheels for cracking at the lug seat. Insure valve stem brace is installed, if applicable. Check that valves & valve stems are secure. We recommend Porsche original hardware. Under no condition should a repaired alloy wheel be used!

I can understand the need to check old Fuchs wheels. Those buggers are starting to fall apart but WTF have they got against "cast imitation Fuchs alloys". That's just going to make people run 30 year old crack-riddled Fuchs longer than they perhaps is wise. Not to go all self promoting here but our Fuchs replicas were designed to TUV standards for historic rally use in Europe and have been extremely successful in that and other facets of motorsport for years now. Good enough for racing, good enough for DE. And "We recommend Porsche original hardware" just sounds snooty too.

I don't have any. I saw the Union Jack and thought you might find the Aero analogy funny. I should have put a question mark by it.

My local PCA's DE/AX rules state: All wheels, other than Porsche OEM wheels, must meet SEMA spec 5‐1A or be subject to approval by the tech inspector.
Any idea if Euromeister's or other Fuch replicas meet this spec? I've never heard of it, and don't know where to find compliance information.

I ordered a set of 17X8 and 9s for my widebody in December. I finally received them from Automotion/Ecklers a couple weeks ago. They blamed it on the west coast longshoreman's strike. Whatevs. They do look awesome for reps and I am having them installed tomorrow. Will post pics. I'm running 225/45 in front and 255/40s in the rear. I put my wheels on my bathroom scale (granted, not the most accurate) and they indicated:
17x8: 18.2 lbs 17x9: 21 lbs Still, not bad. Great wheels for the price.

Certainly their supplier has manufacturing resources at least equivalent to Euromeister? Why the delta?
