Quick oil question
I have seen many people recommend 20w50 oil for the 1979 911sc. I went to the auto shop and I seen that 20w50 in most cases are labelled motorcycle oil? Is this the oil I would use. Thanks in advance for your response.

Without starting another oil discussion...yes a 20W-50 oil labeled for M/C's would/should be sufficient for our air-cooled engines.
Typically motorcycle oils are rated SG/SH David

IMHO read this first then work your way through this.
The reading will be well worth your time. My 86' came with Shell Rotella T 15-40 but I plan on switching to Mobil 1 Euro Blend 0w40.
