Looks like your seals could use some refreshing. Try some glycerin on them. it will clean and brighten them up and make them more supple, you can get it at any pharmacy . love the color of you 86 Targa. Enjoy

Installed my new wheel. Dewalt cordless impact with a 1/2" socket adapter made removing the 27mm nut a snap.

Added SuperBright LED brake/running lights. From the outside with the lights on, you can't tell they are LED which works for me - since this ain't no 2015 Range Rover. Instant-on will hopefully get peoples attention a bit quicker keeping my @$$ in one piece a bit longer.

Pics here (that will show off my beautiful top next to my banged-up targa bar cover) - I was sharing close-ups to help Dan diagnose the fit:

What is the color code for your car, it looks just like my 84 Targa? And my top is certainly due for a rebuild, so Dan will get it at some point.

My color is L956, which is Pewter

I removed and repainted my brake calipers which were in lousy condition, flaking off lacquer and encrusted in brake dust.
Also deep cleaned the inside of the wheels and correctly reinstalled the front bumper so the wheel well liners could properly seat inside it.

Also replaced the orange side markers with smoked ones.

Installed black anodized aluminum door lock knobs that I designed - they look great for that all black RSR look The great news is they're now also available trough our host, Pelican Parts! They're offered in three colors: Black, clear or "as machined".

Black:
Pelican Parts - Product Information: PEL-POR-001B

Clear:
Pelican Parts - Product Information: PEL-POR-001C

"As machined":
Pelican Parts - Product Information: PEL-POR-001

Here's what the "as machined" version looks like:

... and the clear version:

More parts to come...

Mine is Platinum Metallic. I should know the color code but I don't. Top is great, hard rain this week in Austin and almost no leak! Window adjust should take care of whatever's left. Interior looks amazing, clean, crisp and new...wow

Thank you guys for the complements. With all the very fine and outstanding vehicles shown on this forum, i always drool looking at all the pictures and setups that are shared on the forum.
Only sad thing is on my San Diego California trips is lack of water on well known lakes , so thee drought impact is devastating

Have a nice weekend, and keep posting on this forum the killer work done to your cars.
Pepe
