Question Engine identification

OK...I'm fairly sure I have to pull the engine to get rid of the oil leaks.
I'm just trying to confirm the engine before I go ahead with the pull.
My engine serial number is - 63901804 ...
Do I really have a 69S engine?
Thanks
Bob

Thanks guys....
Now I suppose I have to get it out and clean it properly.
I can't seem to find the last little oil leak...and it bugs me (smoke coming out of the engine).
I fixed the leaks in the rocker shafts with seals...and put in new valve cover gaskets...although I do have 2 minor cracks in the top covers (they do not seem to leak).
I guess the only way to be sure is to do a partial engine job (top end) and seal everything properly.
Thanks
Bob

With the serial number 63901804.

The first digit "6" is for a 6 cylinder.

The second digit "3" is for an S type. 1 and 2 stand for T and E respectively.

The third digit "9" is the year as in 69'

The remainder digits are the sequential build numbers.
