Very clean build. You might want to add some padding under the fenders so the paint doesn't crack when the tires throw up rocks.

You are going to need more cooling than that

"320 real hp" as you said in post #1 is quite a bit, I am with Bill on this. At least a center cooler or an active fan on your fender cooler.

Nice build, keep it coming.

Just curious as to what horsepower levels begin to need more cooling than just the passenger fender cooler, or, said another way, at what level does the stock cooling system, with oil cooler fan begin to be insufficient?

My interest is for my 6 speed '89 project, engine is 3.4/PMO Intake/Motec/SSI, which is basically a street car. Expected HP is around 275 or so....

Thanks for the thoughts Bill!

a second oil cooler is part of the programm! an early oil cooler is bolted directly to the engine.

I've never run an engine mounted cooler so have no opinion on how it would work on a 3.6/3.8 but have run 3.6 & 3.8 in early chassis, for street use 2 front fender mount or 1 front bumper mount are fine( so at a guess the fender mount and the engine mount will be fine for street use), for track use you need all the cooling you can fit, my 3.8RS track car is good w/ 2 very large Setrabs which have front air ducted directly into them, for an early chassis a very large bumper mount and at least one fender mount seem to work ok.

I love campangnolo's, but they aren't correct for an ST. So I'd go with Fuchs at the front and minilites on the rear?

The camps in gold anodized would be unique, period correct and really set of the red paint. Minilites would be a close second.

I believe +3 offset was the original front wheel offset for the RSR 15x9 Fuchs. They were used with the 9 inch front flare.

Would also depend on your hubs and brakes.

This would be a killer setup, the gold goes with the red like nothing else!

and tires. It will be those that rub if you get it wrong.

BTW 911 Fuchs 15x10 seem to be about -15 if I'm not mistaken. Our replicas certainly are.
