Jerry did a set of 911R lights for me which I will use on the back of a Meyer Manx dune buggy on crack. They were his first ones and they are perfect for my needs. If only everyone else that build special parts for me was as nice, professional with ocd, and delivered fast, I would be driving right now! Thanks Jerry!

Got my brake lights and turn signals installed and extremely happy with the design, quality, and customer service. Can’t wait to hit the road and gives me more confidence with other cars around. Great product and happy customer.

Left side has brake installed compared to regular bulb on the right. Hard to really show the difference but it pops in real life.

They're on my car and hooked up. So far I've only driven it around the block since I'm sorting out other changes. My concerns at this point are that they don't fit perfect, but then they don't even fit the same left to right so it may be more differences in the car than with the light housings since they're mirror images of each other. The other concern is reliability since I don't have much miles/vibration/weather on them.

Not sure what I want to do with them though. Sell them? Sell the STL file?

Brake and reverse boards in white.

I tried to talk a guy out of them but he insisted....

Spokes are you making these for 964’s? It looks like the third brake light you offer will also work on the 964 but I wasn’t sure about the the rear lights.

My latest project is this 911 reflector with built-in brake lights.

Here's the Porsche part number along with the date code of 11 Juni 1991. I guess that makes this reflector NOS.

The brake lights open up from the inside making it possible to insert a PCB with a bunch of LEDs on it.

The LED board is a simple rectangle and I tried to make the LED density about the same as the 911 brake board. The reflector brake board is a bit less dense than the brake board but should match. The red PCB color for both brake boards was selected by the owner of the reflector.

The board fits well and I will need to design and print a new cover as the OEM cover has a built-in reflector and bulb socket. I'll just bring the bare wires out and let the owner figure out connectors.

I believe the light boxes on the rear reflector were for rear foglights. That said, more brake light is more important than rear fogs.

Or you could exchange a reverse light for a rear foglight. Thanks to Spoke.

That makes sense. As a foglight, the bulb is a OSRAM 7506L 21W single filament bulb. Same power as brake and turnsignal.

One addition with my boards is it can be operated as a running light just like the brake light. If running lights are not desired, the running light wire remains unconnected.

Assembling the new boards. Put down solder paste with my Hextruder pencil.

The paste before setting components.

On another topic; 911 later foglight fixture, it was observed that the URO foglight fixture has a small tab that the OEM fixture does not have shown circled in the picture. This tab interferes with one of the clips I use.

I've ordered a URO fixture to design a new clip.

The foglight reflector board fits pretty well. The cover seems ok too. The cover will be completely covering the board unlike this prototype in the pictures. This prototype allowed me to view the board while installed.

The wires come out of the moisture drain hole in the reflector.

Apparently I missed this little boss supporting the one screw hole. The one LED on the board was interfering with this boss.

The one LED needed to be shaved down a bit for the board to fit. V1 of any design does not make it to production....

Final assembly of the reflector brake LEDs. Covers are the same size as the original and will accept the foam gasket from the original. The original bulb holder/reflector/cover is replaced.

The finished assemblies. The LEDs can also be lit gently for running lights so the 3rd wire (black) is the running light power. If not used, simply leave disconnected and tucked away.

The wires exit the light cavity through the moisture channel in the OEM fixture. 2 screws hold each light assembly in place.

The light pattern is very uniform and is very bright.

The LED board blends in well with the lens.
