It's been 35 years since the last 911 to use that reflector, yet... The innovation keeps coming. You love to see it.
I deleted the license plate lights on two of my cars. Hmmm, those wires are just sitting there, doing nothing, when they could be operating these "auxiliary running lights." 🤔

I wasn't satisfied with the finish of the silver covers so they were reprinted with black PETG. Also did some post print processing by sanding the cover and painting them. Look a lot better.
Since the brake boards were red the pinch clips for the board were also printed in red. ![]()

And there you go. That's the key to everything, isn't it?

I'm looking for a volunteer to test out an e-ballast for cruise control ECU compatibility. The current solution is to provide 6 ohm high power resistance always connected to the brake light wire.
This solution uses 6 ohm low power resistors switched in with a relay. With brake lights on the ballast resistor is not needed and is switched out. The 6 ohm resistance is needed only when the brake lights are off. This point was noted by Engelbert in conversation about turnsignals. I need someone to actually test it out. If you have one of the high power ballasts just swap this one in and see if the CC still operates. Let me know if you're interested. TIA.
