Post Engine Damage?

Will I damage my engine if I continue to drive when I can hear (faintly) my #5 valve tapping. It may be a couple weeks until I get the gaskets / feeler guage and I can make the necessary adjustments.
Thanks for any insight.

When you get the new P-213 tool, be sure to disassemble and clean thoroughly with brake cleaner/degreaser spray. Then, reassemble with blue Loctite on those tiny screws and nuts.

Check your other valve adjustment thread for the reason for the Loctite!
