I think you have to make sure the photo is properly oriented before you do the upload to the site. Seats look really nice!

ExcellencePaint 10-08-2016 05:59 AM

Yesssssssss. Can't wait to see these in the car.

rolfjahn 10-08-2016 07:18 AM

How do you rotate images in upload?

Thanks-That's what I thought but I just found out that it takes resizing the images

Who is doing your interior/upholstery work? Looks great, I'm in FLL and will be looking for an interior shop very soon.

Picture resize and Repost

We have duplicated the factory Porsche Sport Seat Bolsters from my original sport seats.
We create the same 4 support bolster supports and weld them to the seat frame.
It makes for a custom seat that bolts and wires up as OEM.
A lot of Work...and leather.

I have used but would not recommend Soft Side in Miami
Extremely expensive, arrogant and slow (7months)

I use All in Leather in Miami because he uses the leather and the design I want.
They do really excellent custom work but they are expensive.

I talked to Justin at JSA in Utah (Kindigit Designs) and its $20K-30K

A full custom leather interior
(Dash, custom seats front and rear, custom door panels, alcantara headliner, windows in/out)
is going to cost you $15-20K, stock will be less)

Very cool, The red Carrera is getting complete M491 Porsche body panels from LA Dismantlers, post some pictures!

Just a little teaser, car has been out of body and paint for a little over 5 months awaiting the brightwork and interior to be finished, we've started install of all the trim and Rolfjahns next trip up from FL I believe we should be getting all of that in.

In the meantime that's when the real fun began, dismantling the entire undercarriage and suspension and blasting and refinishing every part, and replacing pretty much everything else. I don't know the specs of the motor build so I'll leave that up to Rolf. I'm terribly excited to see this entire thing finished and completed

Why are Porsche parts so expensive?!

My rear seat hardware was missing (blame someone) and the pins, springs and bolts cost $97...

Got sidetracked today

Cleaned up and fitted new Cohline cloth braided lined to the fuel charcoal canister and the lines to the fuel tank

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1534980443.JPG
I'm an idiot-put the canister in the wrong way!!!
Now it's clear why the lines are short...

Replaced front oil lines and cleaned hard lines and cleared
Replaced oil cooler and fan assembly with new Elephant Racing unit
