Rebuilt Pedal Assembly and Installed 935
What a pain in the butt
Remove rust, disassemble, refinish metal, clear, install new brass and plastic bushings new master, make the wires all pretty, adjust 935 pedal linkage, replace the center linkage bushings, Molykote the bushings, clean the center tunnel Shed some blood and scrape my knuckles on the support rod... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536270273.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536270273.jpg |

Haha nice, you must be single or have a very cool gal, mine is very cool but she wouldn't put up with 2 cars worth of parts in our living space. Great work you're doing too! Cars look awesome!

Living in separate houses definitely keeps the romance alive. I'll post a picture of my custom built bedroom. I also have really big speakers bolted to the walls...and ML amps that weigh 150lbs http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1536368854.JPG |
Replaced the canister braided lines with new and I'm amazed how nasty but still strong the existing lines were.
I originally put the canister in backwards DUh! http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537041755.JPG Replaced the S-hose and used DEI butyl wrap and a sleeve for protection from the headers. Engine Builds-LMN Motorsports
LMN Motorsports in Virginia built both my 87 and 88 3.2-3.4 Carrera motors
I live in Miami with trust and integrity being a requirement for a successful long distance build This is the 4th 911 that Lutzo has built for me. I've known Lutzo for over 20 years now Lutzo has won as part of a team at the Rolex 24 and has worked with some of the influential drivers we still see today I went every month for 5-10 days to learn from his crew on how to disassemble/assemble different components I wasn't familiar with I would never attempt to build a Carrera 3.2 engine or a G50 transmission, there are too many experience based nuances that are above my pay grade. His shop is down to earth as is his crew. His shop does everything from constructing and maintaining race cars to servicing Panamera's. He has the air cooled knowledge that is quickly evaporating And we are both old as dirt and neither of us will ever grown up. Good qualities... We used the Mahle 3.4 jugs and the JE 10.25 Pistons Webcam Billet 20/21-Steve did a custom program Engine assembly is time consuming/all measurements are triple checked and I'm a OCD clean person-so I got to clean all the casings and parts. Machine work was done at Abacus Racing in VB http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537481587.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537481587.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537481587.JPG http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537481587.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1537481587.JPG |
