looking at the photos of your car more closely again, it looks like the sway bar sticks out a fair ways from the inner fender? I know that's not an adjustable thing, but maybe there's something unique about the sway bar on your car that's causing the arms to sit too far outboard? I have a spare sway bar in my shop and I can measure its length which you can maybe use to compare to yours?

The cars with coil overs that do not have interference may be using offset "camber correction" ball joints or other different parts. These push the bottom of the strut out another quarter inch or so.

Maybe it's not exactly the same, but on my 930 the swaybar was touching the strut as well when off the floor due the A-Arm angle, this is normal (at least using RSR stuts) as the damper rod is too long and has to be shorten according Bilstein (don't know if this is correct for any RSR Struts/dampers). If car on the ground, angle almost even to floor. no guarantee if this is the issue for your dampers, but worth to check:

Adjust right height car fully equiped (not now then), fuel at least 1/2 and person or same weight as you on the driver seat. how to check forum here. Now you can see if your struts are too long: When you lift the car, you'll have way to much negative travel until the springs goes off pre-tension or even could fall out of seat. However, when reached the point, where no tension is on the spring, then you have to measure the lenghth of the rod. Next you have to shorten the rods to this meausurement plus a certain amount more, if I remember correct it was 5mm or so, this way, springs never get loose. Cutting is easy, but you also have to make the groove for pin at the front and cut eventually threads at the rear. So at the end every RSR suspension is unique for each car regarding length of damper rods.

Roland, I'm going to check as you refer.
I believe that the car at the floor it won't touch the sway bar. I can also use shorter springs in order to have the spring above the swaybar.
