Just a note from my personal experience. The "too long" 11104 seal appears to install just fine. The bonded seam appearance is not ideal, but not terrible.
I ran out of time, so installed the 11104 that I had on hand (the one I posted pics of in this thread). It may be too long, but not too long to work. It conforms to the window. And installation looks to be OK. A redesign may be ideal. But if you need something now, my advice is to go ahead and use the ones currently available.
