I have a 1971 2.2S injection system including throttle bodies, intake, fuel injector, electric fuel pump, cold start valve/fuel filter, fuel injectors, hard lines to injectors and a belt. This system has been in storage since 1972 and has less than 8000 miles on it. The only things I know are missing are the fuel lines, air filter and filter housing. I'm not sure how much this is worth so make offers.
Thanks, BK |

Yes, this is the MFI system. This seems to be a pretty hot item based on the number of offers I have received. When I said I didn't know what it was worth, I didn't mean I was stupid! Please, serious offers only. I would be inclined to think an original 2.2S injection system with less than one year of wear on it is worth at least a set of nice webers, if not more. It did sit for a while so it might need a good cleaning, but nothing should need replacing. The number on the MFI pump is 0408 126 009. The throttle bodies are perfect. Everything needs a little elbow grease, but other than that is in perfect condition.

Injection parts
I have a 1970 911 E, with a bad injection pump. I am very interested in replacing it, and would consider replacing the entire set-up with one from a S series car. I have brand new injector tips, but my pump is having a number of problems, and I have some minimal wear on the butterfly valve connections.
If you know whether or not your set-up would bolt onto my car, it would be very much appreciated. I would be interested in talking with you about it. Please call at 719-638-2177. Thanks, Monkeypod |

Others on the board will probably correct me, but I don't think an S pump will work on an E. Different quantites of fuel at different timing. The throttle bodies are also slightly larger. Not sure if that means they wouldn't work, it just means they are slightly larger!
But you're on the right track. Keep the MFI and do not switch to carbs! Where are you located? If you're near Orlando I can look at it and tell you what you need. If may not be the pump. Good luck! BK |

No, the parts are no longer for sale. Monkeypod resurrected an old post.
