FS: NEW Turbo (965) Aluminum Sachs pressure plate, G50 race clutch and T/O Bearing
Brand new in mid-2011, sourced from Kennedy Engineering Products, SACHS OEM 90+ 965 Turbo Pressure plate and G50 street race clutch and SACHS throwout bearing.
ACCORDING TO KENNEDY ENGINEERING'S clutch tech guru (spoke to him on 8/6/12), Monty, These would suit ALL 964, 993, 964 Turbo or 993 Turbo applications as long as they are the non-dual mass flywheel. Was told this clutch kit would be good for 500HP and 500 ftlbs. The Clutch is an upgraded street race clutch that is suitable for higher rpm and greater longevity. It has a metal backing plate and is bonded and riveted with heavier duty springs. Pedal pressure should be similar to stock 964 Turbo and 993 Turbo. Of course, glad to measure parts to help verify. Asking $640 + shipping for the package. **Note, I also have KEP Chevy LSx to G50 bellhousing adaptor and flywheel for sale.** Kennedy sells this pressure plate, clutch, throw out bearing combination for $975 shipped. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Clutch kit installed on LS to G50 conversion flywheel for mock up: ![]() Purchase receipt from Kennedy: ![]() Thank you, Doug

Would this fit a 91 C2? Would it be too harsh for a street application? Would I need to use my dual mass flywheel with this or would I need to get a LWF for this? How much for everything?

I will call Kennedy Engineering and ask them tomorrow and let you know. I would suspect this is compatible with either flywheel, but do not know 100%. As for it being heavy, I suspect that is not an issue as it is an OEM unit. I'm asking $640 + shipping (say $30) for the pressure plate, clutch and throwout bearing, all of which are brand new. You can see retail prices on one of the photos I posted. If the right equipment for you, this is a signficant savings. I will report back. Thank you, Doug

Yes, it would fit as long as you run the converted single mass flywheel on the 964 engine. I do not have the flywheel you'd need. The flywheel I have is to bolt a high horsepower Chevy v-8 to a Porsche transaxle. You could source that flywheel from Patrick Motorsports or Kennedy. This clutch and pressure plate would be much stronger and exhibit more longevity (but not heavier) than the stock version. Thank you for your interest, Doug PM if you'd like to have a short phone call.

All-
This is the lightweight (RS - type, single mass) flywheel you'd need for 964 or 993 non-Turbo applications. Flywheel Euro RS Single Mass Conversion Porsche Part Distributed By Patrick Motorsports OR OR 964 RS flywheel: Lüfteknic - Parts and Accessories for Porsche Vehicles
