One more question if you don't mind. Are the original seat belt bolts long enough to be used in conjunction with the bars, or are longer 7/16" UNF bolts needed?

Regarding the 964 fitment, I have the JM Product design which was advertised to fit earlier cars and they fit my 964 , These are similar and should also fit the 964

yes, however i believe i left out one of the plastic washers when i had my jm pro bars installed. then again maybe i did not, i can't really remember. either way these were installed using the same setup in my car as seen in the photos. based on the number of bars sold in the past and their reviews i think it's safe to say the stock bolts will be just fine.

Frank that is a great question. We are currently working on sourcing longer seat belt hardware from a TRW supplier.
While there appears to be plently of thread engagement left after the bar is installed, we would like to compensate for material thickness.

I've not read about any failures of any of the different bars from various vendors, but there certainly is a comfort level here.

We'll keep you posted.

Just an update, as of today we still only have 2 paid orders. We have invoiced those who wanted to pay by paypal and are waiting on the arrival of a few who chose to pay by check. Once we have 5 paid orders the ~2 week shipping clock will kick in.
