Kris is right, however we did just start the next batch of 10, so the lead time will remain about the same as the first batch.

most of the first set of bars have shipped and been received according to fedex. if you are one of the lucky few feel free to post up some pics once installed. the second round is in the works right now but in all likelihood not much is going to get done this week as we prep for hershey.

received / installed my set today!!!

Received my set today. Beautiful finish. Nice packaging.
Just finished installation. Piece of cake. All the angles were perfect. It took me longer to take the pics then the install. Just a note: make sure you keep track of, and get all the spacers and the wavy washers back in the right order so the seat belt anchors swivel.
Didn't have time to get a test drive in. Maybe tomorrow...

My set showed up on the doorstep a few days ago, but only got around to installing them a few minutes ago. Installation was a breeze. I installed my bars different than kwdnobull by placing the adjustment notch at the top as opposed to the bottom, but I can't imagine it makes any difference as the angle on the ends are the same. The only comment I have is that the adjustment notch was a bit loose for 18mm and too tight for 17mm wrenches. It may be the coating just on a hair thick, but I was able to tighten the set nuts with no issues.

One question I had when installing was pre-load. Should we attempt to put a little bit of push or pull to the bar after installation or leave it as is? All in all a great product, and thanks for providing it to the community.

Took a few photographs of the completed install. They sure look sweet. My seat of the pants feel says it did add a little bit of stiffness, but hard to tell.

Hey Jason,

Frank here. I'm glad to see you purchased these - I'll have to check them out the next time we get together over at Rob's. I plan to order for a set once my car is in the re-assembly stage.

you can have the notch at the top or the bottom, which ever makes you happier. it would probably be easier to adjust if it was on top but the amount of adjustment is so small it really doesn't matter.

more than likely it's the pc on the part that is making the 17mm not fit exactly. maybe try with an sae?

i am by no means an engineer but when i installed them i just snugged the bar maybe a 1/4 turn once installed and tightened down the nuts and called it a day.

glad to see everyone is happy with the bars. the next batch it in the works now so if anyone would like a set please send me a pm and we will take care of you.

Installed mine today, they are very well-done, and the install is super-easy. Hint - put the bottom bolt in first, then adjust the length to the top bolt, much easier that way, I did it upside down on the first one.

I have a little concern that the bottom bolt might need to be longer, I wonder how many threads I actually engaged.

you didn't install it right the turnbuckle ends should be even prior to installation, which would make them even after installation. there is plenty of thread on them if done right.

Not the brace itself, that is fine, there is plenty of adjustment, I meant the bottom seat belt bolt.
