It's good to see some people supporting Magnus. I never understood these 'men' that feel the need to talk **** about him in every thread even slightly related to him. So i guess it tells more about them than about Magnus. I know a few men that have met him and they all agree that Magnus has a great personallity. Some need to grow up...

Flippers and Magnus, two topics guaranteed to generate a multi-page thread full of guys feeling ways about stuff.

Free Bump for the OP
He is a business man and it is amazing how easily people buy into the hipster market feeding frenzy.
So now this guy (OP) takes advantage of your ga ga Magnus man-crush, buys up a bunch of steering wheels for 350$ and sells them to you for twice that. Keep spending that money to be hip hipster! ![]() P.S. I think Magnus is a great guy he really is genuinely an enthusiast, his hipster vibe "originality" and accent have a hypnotic effect. He has a genius ability to pour some artistic soul into a car, he's cool, he's hip, I get that. But sheeple, use your own originality, you can scrape up your own MOMO, use some sandpaper, maybe a hammer to put a nick in the metal part, think for yourself.

I suppose I will jump in on this too. I have no problem with MW. I think he has great taste cars and has a budget well beyond mine to make his cars come to life. I think the bashing is probably un called for but so is a lot of the praise. Nearly everything he has done to a 911 has been done before right here on this forum or Early S. Check out the narrow body early hot rod thread. It's now a decade old. I'm pretty sure some of his cars are in it. I think a lot are jealous that he gets so much credit for building cars that are really not a lot different than many here have built. He just has a budget to build a lot of them so it comes off as all his own. A lot of new to Porsche guys admire his vision. I do to. I want his collection. Who wouldn't. They are very cool cars. Would I buy a momo because it has his name on it? Nah. I'm sure he would admit himself that the $750 would be better spent on a vintage wheel with true character. That said, I'm sure there is someone out there who will fork over the dough for this one. At least that's what the OP is betting on.

Point well made and taken. No need to name call, I just don't like his style.

Sam N - that I can appreciate. While I do dog his style - I was buying rocker pants from his clothing store long before he was well known - it's definitely not for everyone.

Love my MW Prototipo. It's thick! and looks like the rest of my 40 year old interior!~
I bet we will see these wheels hit 1k before it's all over.

Maybe the inverted picture is a sly zinger aimed at the infamous, parked truck incident?!?!?
Shane, it's good to see that you know the proper spellage of "butt", buttofcourse!

Why all the sensitivity over simple barbs? My experience with "car guys" is that zinger slangin' is the norm. Maybe the Pebble Beach types take offence - no experience with that crowd. I bet Magnus would take the zingers in stride and sling back in kind.
