Nice wheel. Not for me. Not worth 1k today either.
I looked, but couldn't find it. I like it for the fatter grip, that would be a good one for my 914-6GT clone.

If you post stuff like this, why not tell the whole story?
He is offering the wheel for 350$ indeed BUT you need to buy it as a package with his works wheels for 1350$ since he doens't want to split them up.
So basically, he is trying to use his Mangus Walker wheel in order to get his wheels sold...

I think giving him the credit for things like that and calling him an icon are what drives guys nuts here. The market was going up with or without him. Ever peek at his Instagram? If 928s get to six figures now that he's been posting about them, I will be convinced.
Kirk, I agree with everything you say here. But 928s have been on the rise for a while now. I'm rebuilding the engine on a 91 S4 now and am looking at a 90 GT in pieces in 2 weeks. GTS's are closing in on six figures, GTs pricey, etc.

On Magnus, he rode the wave masterfully. I think what chaps some folks asses is he came here and built a brand, never answered questions and then disappeared. And cars built by Chris Nielsen, Mark Morrissey and 10 other guys are substantially better executed but done so without the marketing. Anyway, I sold him some seats, seemed like a nice enough fellow.

Yep, didn't take me long to figure out that was what he was doing, I caught that almost immediately, well before he branded it and pointed out what was going on to a few others. And yes, him not responding has more to do with the negativity some post here, as it was like

I let my worked over GTS heads go, they had like 40 hours of flow work at Champion

Man, I hate that guy. LOL. Kiddding. I'm just jealous. Still not buying the steering wheel. Maybe if it had a Jackie Stewart horn button

If I am ever in his neck of the woods, I will look him up. I want to check the cars out. I hear he's pretty accommodating to us Porsche nerds.

Yeah, some over hype the guy and he is relentless with his marketing(good for him).
But, every time I've spoken with him he's been very nice and is obviously a car fanatic-I usually talk to him about Mopars though ,in addition to Porsche, he is a Mopar fan.

I did notice that he seems to prefer Racemark wheels in many of his cars-as do I-mine's been in my '67 before anyone knew what a "Magnus" was though.

Very well balanced(rear trans axle), light controls, incredibly smooth and responsive throttle, one of the best green house designs ever for visibility, clack-clack of the recessed gated shifter and one of the best engines ever built-turbine smoothness and effortless willingness to rev.

Thanks, always loved that car. Sounds wonderful to drive. It and the Lancia Fulvia and BMW 3.0 CS all have similar greenhouses, at least to my eye, but all completely different cars. I'd like to get a Fulvia soon.

Shane, are you going to have it placed above or below this one that you already have (so I hear, don't want to find out in person )?!?!?

No, I will have to get my old tramp stamp surgically removed. I kind of like your stamp; RW, it's for rectal warrior right? I thought you might get the AI for anal intruder, or BP for butt pirate or CC for colon cowboy.

I guess the logo is a U and an O representing Urban Outlaw. I guess if you side swipe a parked truck with a reporter as a passenger you can call yourself an urban outlaw. No wonder all the fan bois are drooling.

Interesting! Shane has that ^ . . . . . . . . .^ as a tramp stap - only difference is the layout; the word "awesome" is in the typical "stamp" spot and the arrows head down to "you know where"! So the word around the campfire is - haven't seen pics.

Shane, is that supposed to be some sort of invitation, or just bragging about yer skillzzz?!?!?
