wiper motor question
the wipers will not return to the "rest" position when they are turned off. they stop where ever they are. is there a quick fix for this?

Sounds like the main red wire is not connected to the motor or the limit switch is internally broken.

The limit switch is internal to the motor assembly (not the black part, but the silver part). There are 4 wires which connect and one is hot power for the wiper return. It it always hot, so the motor will return.
Unfortunately ro properly diagnose the wiper motor, you have to pull the gas tank.... James

When you pull the tank splice in a Three prong connecter into the Wires then you wont have to remove the expansion tank to unhook the gauge sender. Steve
