I didn't think people in Georgia had those........

cruiksdr 01-06-2004 11:19 AM

uhh, I think it's safe to say that this thread is pretty useless and would fall under that catagory of cleaning up??? Someday someone is going to be really pissed when all this turns up in their search for technical help on, well, just about anything at this point:D

It's more fun then work, though! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/.../smileysex.gif

Mikey, on your lift, can you use it to support the car other than on the tires (tars in Georgia ;)?
I was just wonderin how'd you work on suspension and stuff with a lift like that. You prolly have some sort of fancy attachment or sumthin.

"I was just wonderin how'd you work on suspension and stuff with a lift like that. "

That's why I got a two post. Plus I don't have to worry about flat spot tars.

And to think that I started all this saying exactly the same thing with just a fewer sarcastice words...........you can blame it on me.

BTW, count me in as trailer trash if I have to buy a lift to be otherwise. I mean I have to work outdoors under a fly because of all the rolling stock around here that doesn't get to live outside.

Inside: Boxster, '44 Jeep w/ SB Chevy and 914 race car.
Outside: 911S, Chevy PU, 14 year old Cadillac and '71 Targa parts car. Is that seven? Yep, I got 'em all listed. And only one on the street, which is pretty remarkable considering all my neighbors have half as many cars and they're all on the friggin' street!

I'm not sure who's the biggest trailer trash around here, hah!

M. Hendrix 01-06-2004 01:17 PM

I don't live in a trailer, but I am pretty sure I wouldn't mind living in one anyhow. I hate spending money.

1. How much would a trailer cost

2. If you live in a trailer, do people leave you alone?

Maybe I should live in an underground trailer, without a mailbox.

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.

ROFLMAO AGAIN! Jack ref.

This thread is going to be in every search, for anything on Google, we just need a HOT SEX reference.

Ok.

cruiksdr 01-06-2004 01:41 PM

I like hot sex! Okay, I'm a guy, so I like just about any sex

I was thinking about moving back home (San Luis Obispo) recently. The cheapest house on the market was a double wide for $250K  I ain't payn' a quarter of a mil to be trailer trash! Out here in farm country, You can get a real nice double wide for $20,000. An older single wide can go for less than $10,000. Course, out here, you can still buy a real house for $35,000, which is why I still live out here. SLO is paradise, but $$$

M. Hendrix 01-06-2004 01:53 PM

Buy a few trailers, and take them to SLO.

Sammy....it has a jack tray that slides along and you can lift one side, or front and/or rear....

cruiksdr 01-06-2004 02:37 PM

Thing 'bout trailers is you got to have place to put it. Land on SLO is mucho dinero!

Oh Well!

M. Hendrix 01-06-2004 03:08 PM

That's not me, I wear square glasses.

Is that a finish on that trailer, or actual wood siding? I like that, reminds me of the time I spent living near the city.

sammyg2 01-06-2004 03:23 PM

That's kinda what I figured Mikey, but wasn't sure.

scg 01-06-2004 03:52 PM

OMG! It'll take at least 11 dimensions to mathematically prove that this thread is "on topic."

Pure evil.

Hey everyone! As useless as this thread seems to be to everyone, you
still keep comin' back. I don't want anyone to think that I'm against us
using the board for everyday small talk, I enjoy it as much as you do.

There is a bunch of dead junk though. If the board was to be cleaned up a little, it shouldn't be done by one person. This would be decided by us!

The moderators could dump some of the older stuff into a separate board where we could go and post individual votes on them. After reaching an agreed number of positive votes, the thread would be deleted.

This is only a suggestion guys! Don't feel threatened and don't worry
about good stuff being deleted. IMO we could really improve this
board.

Joe Bob 01-06-2004 04:18 PM

Umm, why....is all the useless data heavy? Slowing down the server? Clogging up search functions....if not, who gives a flying rats a$$?

M. Hendrix 01-06-2004 04:25 PM

I see what you are saying, but it works pretty good the way it is, as far as the board goes..

Sometimes, the search requires keywords you wouldn't think of offhand..

At my level of knowledge on 914 mechanicals, I searched for 'stalls hot won't start' (or similar) and out of the many posts it pulled up, only found one that described my problem, although the 90 others were still topical enough to understand from the subject line that they weren't relative..

After reading that post, I took words that seemed more relative than my original search, and got 6 very discriptive threads, that totally explained my problem: I am mentally incapable of having a loving relationship with anything but an old car.
