Hoo-waa, looks clean! How much does a nice clean roller like that cost, and where do you hafta go to find one? It makes me wanna strip mine to nothing and start all over again. Maybe when I become independently wealthy someday. Or after I find a suitcase full of money at the bus station. Not that I frequent bus stations, mind you.
My next project (hopefully at the end of this month) is to pick up that Ohio parts car and strip it down and rebuild the 2.0 to a 2-point-something-bigger.
Make sure you post lots of pictures of your progress so we can geek all over 'em!
Cheers
Jeff

I don't think we should edit the old threads. It's too risky. We just have to live with the possibility that someone in an otherwise useless thread like this will use a term like trailing arm, or clutch cable, or ........:p

One nice thing about the boxes:

You get a good creeper and slide under the car.....and take a little nappy-poo....with visions of Ax dominance dancing in your haid.

Getting the car jacked up is really not a problem. I have a CSOB, 18 inch lift floor jack. Jack the car up to bout 16 inchs of lift, block the car up, do the same at the other end. Drop the jack, add 8-12
inches of blocks to the jack pad and up we go again. Working by myself, it takes a half hour to get it done. I have a deep & abiding mistrust of jackstands.

A lift would be gud, but that's $2500 worth of goodies I could put into the car. Of course, I put 20K into a shop to house the little *****box.

I have had problems with my car when its WARM, sometimes COLD, STARTS HARD, I think it might be the CHT, MPS, or VALVE ADJUSTMENT.

I have had problems with my PEDAL CLUSTER, and NOT FIRING, not to mentions the problems I have had with the AAR, and INJECTION, specifically.

I have considered upgrading to a NICKIES equipped Yugo motor CONVERSION.

Other problems, TARGA, DOORS, MIRRORS, WINDSHIELD, CHROME BUMPERS, FOG LIGHTS, MOUNTING, AFFIXING, and PROPER SERVICE INTERVAL.

Sound like you need to TUNE UP your search ENGINE.

Scrappy 01-06-2004 10:49 AM

M's idea of a search ENGINE is Birddogs and Bloodhounds. They're highly technical in Georgia. Their idea of an ECM is a pair of reins. NOT FIRING is when they run out of black powder and round shot. PEDAL CLUSTER is what's on a flower. INJECTION is havin' kids. NICKIES is what you remove to have INJECTION.

And so on..........,

M. Hendrix 01-06-2004 10:56 AM

Only one person I know would use the term 'Crackerland' besides Howard Dean...

M

Joe Bob 01-06-2004 11:05 AM

Crackerland is a state of mind.....
