Brake proportioning solution

Guys:
A 100 years ago I bought a "kit" to add aftermarket proportioning valve to six from Automotion. I am looking for one again that will make this easy (so I can do it)....Pelican has nothing ...ANy sources that will not require fabrication of lines etc.
I'm a "parts changer" .
Thanks
Terry

If the need for a proportioning valve is really called for, most of the people I know use an aftermarket manual one. There are two basic types, one has a knob and the other is a lever and both can be installed inplace of the original one or in the console. If the car has a tee in place of the original one and stock brakes then I would be surprised one would be needed. If big brakes are put on and/or there are racing events done in rain or snow then removing some real brake is handy. Racer Parts Wholesale is a good source for them as they just bolt in.

Brakes

Well I wasn't very clear;
BIG brakes are involved and stock valve is in place, THe one I did years ago was a kit that neatly replaced stock one and was adjustable. I checked out site but seems like fabrication will be involved ....Do you agree.

I am also trying to rid myself of bleeding issue.
Thanks

Well, no matter what you do, the brakes will need a bleeding and the two ways I like to do it is the pump and bleed method with someone inside the car or better still a pressure bleeder and that makes it a one person job. I put an adjustable prop valve in the position where the stock one resides after having a tee for many years and switching to different brakes that were a lot more powerful. One thing you can do is to cover the opening where the fluid goes in with plastic wrap and when you brake the lines not all the fluid will pour out. You will still have to bleed them though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eric Shea at http://www.pmbperformance.com couldn't put one together for you.
