2L going back. Which sealant??

So I am ready to put the case halves back together with all brand new/30 year old stock OEM bearings, seals and gaskets. I was told by an "old time" Porsche mechanic that the best product to seal the case halves with was Permatex 300. I have not been able to locate any 300. What is the best "current" sealant commonly available?

Leon in Alaska

Don't use the flange sealant/gasket eliminator setting type as it will leak due to case movement due to heat.
Haven't had a great run with Permatex so won't recommend,go for the 518

Curil-T and Curil K2 are the current generation of sealants I'm using.
