side view mirrors

On both of my side view mirrors the glass has fallen out. Has anyone else tackled this small but anoying problem. A friend recommend I put them back on with 3M molding tape. I would think that using the tape would allow it to vibrate and not give a very good reflection. I thought about using some two part epoxy, but before I venture there I figured I'd inquire here first. Any suggestions?

Now that it is a while later...
I have had to do the fix. At an automotive parts store, they do make some kind of glue that is for readhering the side mirrors. I had the fix done for over a year without any problems.

If I can find out what I used I will post that later.

Paul

Thanks for you the reply. After many inquires it turned out that I had to revert to the 3M double faced tape method. It worked great so far. No vibrations, very solid. Thanks again.

Rob.
