Where is the oil indicator switch located..?
Hey guys. On my '87 944, I'm having trouble finding the oil indicator switch. As some of you know, my engine is from an '84, and I was wondering if there was such a switch on these pre 85.5 cars that I could use to send a signal to the instrument cluster. As of now to oil warning light just remains lit.
Thanks for the help! -Tony

The later models had an oil level sensor/switch in the side of the oil pan. If the pan was not changed out with the engine swap then there is no level sensor just a wire hanging down -- maybe.
